The services we provide include, but are not limited to :

Configuration Installing drivers for hardware to achieve optimal performance. Setting software/network parameters.
Data & file recovery Attempted recovery of data or individual files from IDE fixed and removable media (not SCSI or RAID at present).
Hardware installations Adding hardware for additional functionality and capabilities or to enhance performance.
Hardware repairs Hardware repairs when feasible and installation of replacements when not. May include Data & File Recovery.
Hardware upgrades Replacing hardware with bigger, faster, better components.
Integration Adding functionality to existing hardware and software to enhance performance and/or reduce replication.
Maintenance Advice on proactive maintenance (backups, virus protection and spyware utilities).
Operating System Diagnosing and eliminating errors and resolving performance issues. Installations & upgrades to MS Windows systems.
Patches Applying recommended and authorised patches and fixes to MS Windows and associated applications.
Virus/Spyware Scanning discs and memory to detect and remove viruses and spyware/adware software/cookies. .
Network installations

Installing routers and network interface cards for wired & wireless networking. Enabling sharing of resources (printers etc).

Data & file recovery from media and some hardware repairs are exempt from our "no fix - no fee" service due to the amount of time that may be required when attempting to recover data from media or dismantle/reassemble components (especially laptops).

Due to the nature of the technology it is rarely possible to repair computer hardware and replacement is usually the only option. NCR Solutions do not sell hardware but will supply replacements from reputable companies and charge customers only for the retail cost as incurred. However there may be a small charge for collection/delivery of the replacement parts.

Wireless installations assume that all supporting documentation is available including logon and IP/firewall filtering information (particularly for ADSL) as supplied by the service provider and that the existing hard-wired service is functioning correctly.
